Accounts that won't be collected in full have to be adjusted or written off so accounts receivable reflects what's truly collectible, and that picture also has to stay aligned across systems. When an account is settled to $0 in Epic but its claim still shows an active balance in nThrive, the two systems disagree and AR is overstated on the nThrive side. Reconciling those stale balances by hand is tedious, and until they're cleared, reporting and aging are wrong across systems.
