Problem Statement

Claims that have already adjudicated sometimes have to be voided outright, and each void has to be done precisely and documented. Working from a list, someone has to open each claim in Facets, enter the specific void code, and attach the correct void letter so there's a record of why the claim was voided and what was communicated. Done manually this is exact, repetitive work where the wrong code or a missing letter leaves the void incomplete or undocumented.

Automation Solution

This automation voids the Facets claims listed in an Excel input by entering the void code in the Provider ID field and attaching the appropriate void letter, and produces an output file recording the claim number, letter template used, and any business exception.
