Problem Statement

Operational and financial reports must be pulled from the source systems, assembled, and distributed on a schedule, and building them by hand consumes analyst time and delays the insight leaders need to act. The claim run is reported twice a day, AM and PM, across both Hospital Billing and Professional Billing, and the two have to be pulled and combined into a single view for leadership each time. Running both sides twice daily and merging them by hand is repetitive, time-bound work where a delay leaves leadership without a current picture of the day's claim activity.

Automation Solution

This automation runs the twice-daily claim-run reports for Hospital Billing and Professional Billing in Epic, combines the data, and emails the combined view to the leadership distribution list.
