Problem Statement

Providers must be enrolled and credentialed with payers before their services can be billed, and a provider who isn't enrolled in time generates claims that deny or get written off. Payers communicate with providers through portal messages that function like an inbox, and these have to be read and triaged so the enrollment team can act on them. For the NC Tracks Medicaid portal, reading each Authorized Official's messages by hand is slow, and an unread message can stall an enrollment.
