Nurses must hold current, verified credentials to practice, and the organization has to confirm each nurse's licensure against the issuing state's records and keep that documentation on file. Doing this manually means logging into state licensing websites, looking up each nurse, and transcribing the key details and a copy of the certificate into the HR system one by one. It's repetitive, detail-sensitive work, and because a lapsed or unverified credential can sideline a nurse from working, it has to be kept current and accurate across the whole nursing workforce.
