Problem Statement

Large influenza data files have to be fed to the Rhapsody interface in limited batch sizes, which means splitting the file, transferring each batch, waiting for it to process, and repeating until the file is empty. Doing that splitting and shuttling by hand is tedious and error-prone, and a stalled batch holds up the data feed.

Automation Solution

This automation splits the Rhapsody influenza file into batches of up to 300 lines and transfers each batch to the Rhapsody drop location, waiting for processing and repeating until the source file is empty.
