Problem Statement

Claims have to move from the billing system to the clearinghouse to be submitted, but with no established file feed between Meditech and Change Healthcare, someone has to manually pull the daily 837 claim files and move them across. Until that transfer happens each day, the claims aren't submitted, so the manual step sits directly in the path between billing and getting claims out the door.

Automation Solution

This automation downloads the daily 837 institutional and professional claims from Meditech and uploads them to Change Healthcare for processing.
