When employed providers see patients at non-affiliated sites, the patient's Epic registration, demographics, and insurance must be verified before the charge can post; if that review is done manually, inaccurate or missing information holds the charge in the charge-capture process, adding to Discharged Not Final Billed (DNFB) days and delaying billing.

This automation reviews registration for employed-provider patients seen at non-affiliated sites, confirms the patient exists in Epic with accurate demographic and insurance information, and clears the charge to post once the data is validated.
