Problem Statement

Registration and demographic errors made up front cascade downstream into eligibility denials and rejected claims, and correcting them manually is repetitive. Accurate registration is what lets the resulting claims bill cleanly the first time. An encounter with no linked visit can't bill cleanly, so each one has to be found and, when no visit exists in the same month, a standalone visit created with the correct date-of-service insurance. Doing this by hand is repetitive correction work, and an unlinked encounter sits unable to bill until it's resolved.
