Registration and demographic errors made up front cascade downstream into eligibility denials and rejected claims, and correcting them manually is repetitive. Accurate registration is what lets the resulting claims bill cleanly the first time. Alternate claim addresses on file can drift out of date, and an incorrect address sends claims and correspondence to the wrong place. Validating each address against USPS by hand on a quarterly basis is tedious lookup work that's easy to defer.
