Problem Statement

Clinical communication tasks require reading messages and routing information accurately and promptly, and handling them manually consumes clinical staff time and can slow the response a patient or provider is waiting on. Well-child visits should send patients home with current education materials, but the older Smart Set content had gone out of date, and keeping it current now falls to providers adding Krames materials by hand, costing two to three minutes per visit. Manual entry is exactly the kind of repetitive step that crowds the visit.

This automation populates Krames patient instructions in the After Visit Summary for well-child visits, delivering current education without manual provider effort.
