Each day's and the historical population of due and overdue patients has to be pulled, then segmented by how each family prefers to be contacted before reminders can go out, and the results compiled for the business to track. Done manually this is slow and easy to let slip, and missed reminders translate directly into missed preventive visits and lost quality-measure performance.

This automation pulls daily and historical well-child visit reports from the data warehouse, segments patients by communication preference into outreach groups for reminder delivery, and generates a business-facing report.
