Refill requests that can't be auto-matched land in an Rx error folder, where a telepharmacist has to match each one to the correct patient, provider, or medication. Working the error folder by hand is repetitive, and an unmatched refill request delays the patient getting their medication.

This automation works the Epic Rx error folder by matching refill requests to the correct patient, provider, or medication, linking the medication when a match is found and flagging unmatched requests as business exceptions for manual review.
