Problem Statement

When a provider places an order for a service the patient never schedules, that order doesn't close itself; it sits active in an Epic workqueue indefinitely. Over time these unscheduled orders accumulate, cluttering the workqueue with stale entries that no longer represent real, actionable work and making it harder for staff to see the orders that still need attention. For Sleep and ENT, orders that have aged beyond 13 months are well past the point of being actionable and should be cleared so the active queue reflects only current work.

Automation Solution

This automation identifies Sleep and ENT orders or appointments in Epic workqueues that have aged beyond 13 months and moves them from the active tab to the removed tab.
