While they wait, accounts and charges accumulate in Discharged Not Final Billed (DNFB), lengthening time-to-cash and risking revenue leakage on services that were performed but never cleanly billed.

This automation reviews charge history to determine if contrast was already billed to another scan or holding in an edit, then updates the provider and bill area to clear the edit.
